Kel Kroydon KK-10 Tenor Banjo
This one is an interesting piece. It is a Kel Kroydon KK10 Tenor banjo from the 1930's.
This banjo is absolutely beautiful, and in great condition.
It does show some signs of play wear, but it is one of the cleanest ones that I have seen.
Everything is original and true to the instrument.
The tuners hold well and the bridge looks great.
This is a rare export model that was originally shipped out of the US.
It bears the stamp "Made In The USA" on the back of the peghead.
The banjo really sounds great, and plays the same, but I am sure most will convert
this piece into a 5-string.
The head looks to be in good shape and measures 11'' across.
the resonator measures 13-3/4'' across.
The instrument weight is 8 lbs 4 oz. The banjo comes in it's original case.
This banjo is fresh out of an estate and is just like you would like to find one.
As you can see, it even has the old cord that was commonly
used as a strap in the 30's and 40's. If you are looking for a great
original example of this banjo, it doesn't get any better!!
